Without Dove or Covenant is a collection of previously unreleased solo pieces for electric bass. Most of the music presented on this EP was originally written for my first three albums, but ended up not being included on those as it didn't quite fit in with the rest of the material (and/or because I felt my performance was subpar). However, listening back now I feel there's enough of musical value here to merit a release, and give you guys a little something to listen to until the next full-length album drops (hopefully fall 2018).
I'd like to extend my thanks to brilliant artist (and fellow bassist!) Anthony Rondinone for the beautiful cover art, the just as brilliant Kalle Persson for doing an awesome job on the mix, and last but not least EBS for the great gear and support!
This EP is a download-only release available exclusively on Bandcamp - download it for free, or pay whatever you think it's worth! I highly recommend downloading in a lossless format (FLAC, WAV, or similar) and listening with headphones! Also, if you like what you hear, please leave a comment, share the link on your social media, hip your family & friends to it... you get the idea. :-) Thanks everyone, and Happy New Year!!

It's not only great jazz you get from MoonJune, of course. The stable is rich with talent from the forefront of progressive music.
This sampler gives two and a half hours of those riches to tempt you into investigating talent you may not have been aware of before.
Listen. Enjoy. Peter Jones

Another stellar release from this long-lived ensemble. Though the King Crimson influence is obvious & that comparison unavoidable, these guys have made many great recordings that can't be categorized as 'mere copies'. The perfect balance of aggressive riffing and serene soundscapes. Stephen Roberts
